Safranal has a spicy saffron-like note with herbaceous, tobacco facets and floral undertones. It is very useful in spicy, agrestic, tobacco, orris and woody compositions.
It has a very strong green-herbal fruity-green notes of fresh pineapple and cool dry-spicy nuances. It is typically used at concentrations between 0.1% and 5%, depending on required intensity and positioning within the fragrance structure.
